What you can order
Options and upgrades
A pin that spins, lights up or glows gets traded first. That’s the whole game at a tournament — and most teams don’t know these are on the table until someone tells them. Here they are.
The upgrades that trade
Pick as many as you like, or none — they stack. Glitter and glow cost very little and are the best value on this page. The estimator below prices whatever combination you land on.

Spinner
A section that spins. Kids will stand there spinning it, which is exactly why it trades.

Dangler
A second small pin hanging beneath the main one. Two pins of presence for one trade.

Slider
A piece that slides across the pin to reveal something underneath.

Glitter
Glitter mixed into the enamel. Costs almost nothing and catches rink lighting from across the room.
Glow in the dark
Glows once the lights drop. Costs very little, and reliably the most traded pin in the bag.
Blinking light
A battery-backed flashing LED.
We generally talk teams out of this one. It is the most expensive thing on the list and the battery wears out quickly — the pin outlives the light by years. Glow-in-the-dark gets most of the same reaction for a fraction of the cost.
Oversized
Not really an upgrade — just a bigger pin. Pick the size you want and the price follows.
Sizes
Measured across the widest point. Most teams land on 2". Going bigger buys detail and presence on the lanyard; going smaller stretches the budget over a bigger roster.
- 1.25"
- The smallest we make. Stretches a budget over a big roster, but it trades like a small pin.
- 1.5"
- The old standard. Still widely ordered, though less than it used to be.
- 1.75"
- A step up that costs very little more. Noticeably better on a lanyard.
- 2"
- Where most teams land now. Room for a real mascot and the full roster of names.
- 2.25"
- Big enough that other teams ask about it before they trade for it.
- 2.5"
- A serious pin. Carries a shaped silhouette and a spinner comfortably.
- 2.75"
- Detail at this size holds up in a photograph, not just in the hand.
- 3"
- A centerpiece pin, and one of the sizes we are most competitive on.
- 3.25"
- Large-format. Usually a shaped design rather than a round one.
- 3.5"
- The size associations pick for a host or anniversary pin.
- 4"
- A display piece as much as a trading pin.
- 4.5"
- Ordered for tournaments and milestones, in larger runs.
- 5"
- The biggest we quote as standard, in larger runs.
Styles
Soft enamel is what most people picture when they picture a trading pin. If your artwork has blends or gradients — most things generated with an AI tool do — the Full-Color Image Pin is the one that reproduces it properly.
- Soft enamel
- Raised metal lines with recessed color you can feel. The classic trading pin, and still what most teams order.
- Full-Color Image Pin
- For artwork a normal enamel pin cannot reproduce. Enamel needs a raised metal line between every color, which is why anything with blended tones — a northern-lights sky, a painted gradient, a photograph, a watercolor a kid did, most things generated with an AI tool — comes back looking fenced-off and wrong. These are printed instead, often over a molded shape, so blends stay blends and your image arrives looking like your image.
- Photo-etched
- Flat, smooth finish that holds very fine line work. Rarely ordered now — the Full-Color Image Pin does most of what teams used to ask this for.

Work out what yours would cost
A real figure for your order, not a starting-from rate. Change anything and it updates.
Working it out…
No mold or die charge on team orders. The design work and the tooling are part of the job, not a line on the invoice.
Design and proofing are included. We draw it, you approve it, and revisions are part of the job.
That figure covers the pins, the design and proofing, the tooling, and standard shipping and handling. Sales tax, where it applies, is worked out from your delivery address before you pay — we do not guess at it here, because it depends on who is buying and where the pins are going.
A tight deadline can need a faster delivery service than standard, which costs more. We tell you what that is before you commit to it.
Someone will reach out within 3 business days to discuss designs, timeline, pricing and next steps.
We will make an order as small as 50 pins, though the price per pin at that size is high.
Several color combinations from one design cost no extra — a different color for each age group, or for the coaches, is straightforward.
